.Red - symbolizes the blood shed for freedom


.Black - symbolizes the black days when Libya was occupied by Italy


.Green - symbolizes wealth, agriculture and a prosperous future


,White - Crescent and Star Drugs Islam


They were placed in the center of the black stripe alluding to the Snusi flag, and to King Idris' part in making the country independent
